SINOPSIS:
El film trata sobre el origen de los 4 fantásticos. Reed Richards, Ben Grimm y Víctor Von Doom son estudiantes de la universidad. Richards y Doom tienen un proyecto para captar fuente de energía de un fenómeno espacial llamado "Coloso", que está por pasar cerca de la Tierra. El experimento sale mal, Doom es gravemente herido y, aparentemente, perece en el hospital como consecuencia del accidente. Del experimento queda una masa de energía plasmada en una masa de diamantes. 10 años después Richards ya es un científico millonario, y planea el lanzamiento de su propia nave espacial para investigar de cerca el fenómeno coloso, que vuelve a pasar cerca de la Tierra. Para potenciar la nave utilizarán la masa de diamantes, que Richards guarda en la bóveda de un banco. Lo que no sabe es que, detrás de los diamantes, se encuentra su amigo Víctor, que ahora sobrevive gracias a una armadura y se hace llamar el Dr. Doom, y una banda de ladrones que viven en las cloacas y son comandados por un enano que se hace llamar El Joyero. Hay varias subtramas, pero la línea principal es que El Joyero roba los diamantes antes que Doom, y los sustituye con una replica. Richards no se percata del cambio, lanza la nave y, por los diamantes falsos, la misma tiene graves fallos en el vuelo, además de absorber la misma (y los tripulantes) la radiación de coloso. Cuando se estrellan contra la Tierra, los 4 sobrevivientes descubren que tienen súper poderes. Idas y vueltas mediante, Doom roba los diamantes al Joyero para construir un súper láser. Intenta retener a los 4 fantásticos en una falsa prisión federal, escapan, y terminan por combatir al viejo ex-camarada de la universidad.
Este film, por lo casposo que fue nunca se estreno. Cuando en Marvel lo vieron, se horrorizaron tanto que prohibieron su difuison, asi que promete, promete......
